Subscription

Cthulhu Nation is completely free to play, for as long as one likes. Subscribing to the game brings many advantages; much of the game's content (maps, quests, equipment, spells) is available only to subscribing characters. Also, only subscribing characters may join guilds.

Some of the benefits for characters who subscribe:

• Faster stamina regeneration (same amount per "tick", but refreshed every three minutes rather than every five).
• Access to particular maps (Innsmouth, Antarctica)
• Most of the quests in the game (all but 20) are available only to subscribers. In particular, the quest to become Tier 2 is available only to subscribers.
• Join or create guilds
• Equipment: Certain armour, weapons and other equipment can be used only by subscribers.

Subscription is typically handled using a PayPal account. Recurring subscriptions may be purchased through the CN Shop, for terms as short as one month or as long as six months at a time.
